PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY

The present Privacy Policy is part of the terms and conditions governing your use of the services offered at the www.sellamigo.com website (the “Site” and the “Services”). The Services are provided by Sellamigo AB, reg.no 559149-0387, (the “Company” and “We/Us/Our”). The Company acts as Personal Data Representative with regard to the Personal Data that you provide Us with when registering on the Site and when using the Services. This applies to your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and saddle number.

Use of Personal Data
  1. The Company may use your Personal Data in order to fulfil the agreement concerning provision of the Services. For this purpose your data will be saved, stored and processed and, if necessary, offered to Our payment partners who require information in order for the Company to be able to fulfil its obligations towards you as a customer.
  2. We process and share your Personal Data with other companies (e.g. saddle manufacturers and retailers and insurance companies) as well as the police for the purpose of developing the Services, assisting insurance companies by facilitating the process of claims settlement, assist the police in investigating reports concerning theft of saddles as well as preventing, limiting and investigating any misuse of the Services.
  3. Your Personal Data may also be used for mailings per post, text message or email or for marketing over the phone, unless you have objected to this. You may contact Us at any time to stop marketing messages being sent to you as a customer.
  4. Your Personal Data may also be used to analyse your buying and selling habits in order to provide you with relevant information and marketing, to provide saddle manufacturers and retailers as well as insurance companies with statistics, and in order to improve the Site and the Services, payment solutions and payment procedures.

    The processing of Personal Data in accordance with letters b-d above is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests where the Company has a legitimate interest in the processing of Personal Data for the purpose of analysis, development and marketing and where this interest carries more weight than the risk to the individual’s privacy that the data processing entails.
  5. Finally, your Personal Data may also be processed in order for the Company to be able to comply with regulations in accordance with laws and directives pertaining to e.g. accounting and security.

The Company uses a number of different IT services and IT systems for its operations. Some of these services and systems may be used to store and process Personal Data. In such cases the IT provider acts as processor for the Company and processes the data on behalf of the Company and exclusively according to its instructions. Any Personal Data obtained from you are stored and processed in a secure manner, and the information is encrypted in accordance with current data protection legislation. The Company requires its IT providers and providers of payment solutions to use encryption and to promote secure handling of payment-related information.

Right to obtain register extracts and other rights

You are entitled to request information about your Personal Data that are held and processed by the Company. You are also entitled to demand that inaccurate Personal Data about you are rectified, that your Personal Data are erased, to object to certain forms of processing of your Personal Data and to request the transfer of your Personal Data (data portability). Some of the rights mentioned above will not come into force until 25 May 2018, which is the date when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect. Any request to exercise any of the above-mentioned rights shall be addressed to the Company. Any request for a register extract must be in writing and carry an original signature. The letter shall be sent to the address stated above in the present Personal Data Policy. You may also at any time file a complaint with the Data Inspectorate if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data represents a breach of relevant legislation; see the website of the Swedish Data Protection Authority at www.datainspektionen.se.

Storage and separation

Your Personal Data will be stored for the duration of the period required to fulfil the purposes and objectives specified in the present Personal Data Policy. Your Personal Data will thereafter be deleted. When determining the period during which your Personal Data will be stored We specifically take into account the legal requirements and recommendations issued by authorities with regard to data storage periods. Your Personal Data will not be stored for any longer than the period required to fulfil the purposes of the data processing. Your Personal Data will be separated or anonymised once they cease to be relevant for the purposes for which they were collected.
